December 29, 2006, Newsletter Issue #69: Limited arm motion range

Tip of the Week

Sometimes a wandering weakness in the muscles can cause us to perceive that our range of motion is limited. This weakness often migrates – disappearing from one place and reappearing elsewhere, limiting that range of motion instead. Donīt push yourself beyond the comfortable limits if you can avoid it. This will only lead to stress, and could cause a flare. Remember that what you canīt move today – as long as the problem is strictly fibro-related – may move easily tomorrow.
