Am I getting Alzheimer´s disease?

What is my memory problem all about?

Fibrofog is the familiar term referring to a loss or malfunctioning of short-term memory, caused by lack of proper sleep and other factors such as chronic pain and fatigue. You may forget what you were saying mid-sentence, or get up to walk to another room and forget why you went there. Some people fear that this is early Alzheimer's disease, but it is not related. The fibro patient is quite aware of the memory loss; an Alzheimer's patient is not. Restorative sleep tends to reduce the amount of fog you suffer.

Brain fog is the most frustrating thing to happen. You're in the middle of talking and you just have to give up. I know when I sleep, it's not a good sleep. When dreaming, I sometimes wake up because I'm talking in my sleep. Quite ambarrasing. This week, I"m really tired and my body is killing me, yet I just can't stop then I just have a meltdown because of pain. I was diagnosed ove 20 yrs ago and it's just getting worse because my body just can't take as much. If you have a problem like this, you can write me.
I get so disgusted. And I"m getting weaker all the time. I feel like my brain cells are just dying by the minute. Thanks for listening.

Jeanne you are not alone. I know how frustrating it can be. I really get embarrassed when I am trying to have an intelligent conversation and the words just will not come OR I just forget totally what I was talking about.
